If you want to share your character, a custom item, or your own creature stat-block with other people using Spellbook (such as your DM or your players), you can use Spellbook's share functionality. Spellbook data is represented by files with the .spbe suffix (spellbook extension) and is stored in either the JSON or CBOR format.

Exporting Data

Sharing is disabled by default but can be enabled by going to Settings, and toggling Show Share Option under the Shared settings. Once this setting is enabled, you can go to the corresponding screen where you could select that thing. Now, press and hold (or right-click) the name you want and choose Share from the appearing drop-down.

Importing Data

There are two ways to import exported data (.spbe files) into Spellbook:

• "Open With": Click on the .spbe file you want to import. Spellbook should be visible as one of the options.
• Import Spellbook Extension: Inside Spellbook go to Settings, and click the book next to Import Spellbook Extensions under the Shared settings. You can then select one or more extensions to import.
